Predictive analytics enables the automation of operations and improved resource management. Real-time anomaly detection and proactive threat identification are used to enhance proactive threat identification.
Generative AI, however, uses a huge amount of computation power, which in turn requires a lot of energy for cooling the heat generated by power-hungry servers. Thus, data centres are in a dilemma. They are needed in an increasingly digitalised world but they also need to be environmentally sustainable.
